My son came down with the flu 4 days before Christmas. I paid $23 for 3 oz of elderberry syrup at a store I had to drive an hour to get to. He was over the flu in one day and the rest of us never got it. Since then we are believers but not in that price. I order dried elderberries off Amazon and make my own (using a recipe very very close to yours) and we take it every single day. It helps with allergies, immune support, sickness preventative and it helps lower blood sugar too. I only wish I could go and pick them in my back yard. What a treasure you have!
