My favorite times of the day, when at camp and at home: 1) Family read alouds, 2) Quiet independent reading. I typically start and end the day reading aloud to my littles and we have quiet independent reading in the middle of the day. Last year I got a local library card, so we could refresh our book supply mid stay and I did hit up two book sales while on vacation. Books, books and more books. We carry our reading routine to camp, because we all love it so.
