This awesome event was local to us not long after I had Anna-Kate. I didn't feel healthy enough to go, but sent my husband and kids (these are all his pics). My two big kiddos came home with all these stories about cooking, treats like pineapple delivered via boat, root cellars, old fashioned medicine, straw beds and bed bugs, old fashioned kid games, and the stories went on and on. I wish I could have enjoyed our time with friends there, but the kids had such a fine time that I bet we'll be back the next event they have! Living history...the very best way to learn.
