Halloween 2019

 Halloween 2019.  They said they had this 'on their own'. They didn't need me (no homemade costumes by mama...sob).

First we have a Fox Hunter (inspired by hobbies read about in George and Martha Washington biographies and the One O'Clock Fox).

 A cowgirl (inspired by Annie Oakley)

 And a 'pitty pincess', inspired by our love of original fairy tales.

 I daresay they did an amazing job.  And this mama loves that even with me out of the picture, their costume ideas came from books, just likes most other Halloweens.
