The chapter books I read with the kids from 7/1/2020-6/30/2021. (Although a couple were on audio.) This doesn't include all of our individual reading books, nor library books, nor audiobooks from the cloud, nor picture books. My favorite part of my day is reading to them, their favorite part is being read to. Here are Adrian's two favorites (Lawn Boy and Touch Blue):
Here are Anna-Kate's two favorites (Winnie the Pooh and Nursery Rhymes:
Audra refused to pick two. She picked The Children of the New Forest (which was one of my favorites too), Touch Blue, Cricket in Times Square series, Winter of the Fisher (which was one of my favorites too), The Dimwood Forest series with Ragweed, Poppy and Ereth (so much fun to read aloud) and The Borrowers. Stacks up close.
A few years ago, I decided to order a big map to keep track of the setting of the books we read. Always check the dimensions of what you are ordering. This is huge, but as listed below, it includes I think the last 3 years of books we read that were set in America.
Want to see last year's stack? Here it is.
