I have made these oodles of times. I can't believe I haven't blogged about them yet, especially since they're a Jackie original.. Most who eat these want the recipe ASAP. Try them out...and let me know how you like it.

1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup oat bran
1/4 cup flax seed meal
3 ish cups flour
Combine hot water and oats in bowl. Add butter, sugar, yeast mixture. Add salt, whole wheat flour, oatbran and flaxmeal. Knead in flour one cup at a time. Knead for 5 minutes or so...or until dough is not tacky. Let rise in greased bowl in warm place for an hour. Punch down. Form into rolls and place into a 9x13 square pan or 2 9inch round pans.
