Did you have a place in your house where you and your siblings recorded your height on each birthday? The hallway molding in the old farmhouse I grew up in was where our heights were recorded each year.
Only we no longer live there.
I decided to make something more portable, just in case we ever do move. This was one of those projects I wanted to do before the next baby...so I'm pretty darn proud of myself that it's done.
This is is what I came up with:
Hand embroidered, appliqued wall hanging, which I can add the heights as my children grow.

I love this! and this is something I'm SURE my sewing machine & I could handle!
